As the resident jazz ensemble of ATX Artists for Social Impact, we unite professional and student jazz musicians through mentorship and performance opportunities to support local musicians and community partners.

Our Vision

An Austin jazz scene that exemplifies excellence and carries forward the legendary John Coltrane’s will to be a “force for real good,”—breathing new life into jazz music by connecting with our communities in need.

3/14/26 - The Butterfly Effect: Into the Jazz Vortex - Swing Dancing for a Cause!

Through our Jazz on Wheels program, we support the local jazz scene by partnering with artists and community organizations to commission and perform original works that amplify the stories of marginalized communities. By bringing professional ensembles directly to community spaces and transforming them into cultural jazz hubs, we provide fair-wage opportunities for both professional and emerging local jazz musicians while highlighting the power of our community's shared stories.
