Meet our new Board President!

We are honored to welcome Mitchell Korn as the Founding Board President of ATX Artists for Social Impact. Recognized by the The Wall Street Journal as a “one-man arts education industry,” Mitchell is North America’s foremost cultural and educational strategic planner.

His work has shaped institutions including the MacArthur Foundation, Nashville Ballet, Royal Conservatory of Music, San Francisco Symphony, and The Cleveland Orchestra. He has created some of the nation’s most sustainable arts education initiatives and is a former lecturer at Harvard, Yale, and Vanderbilt University.

Come celebrate the first ATX Jazz Jams for Humanity of 2026 with a community mixer and mini jazz festival! We have an incredible lineup scheduled, which includes 13 musicians AND 2 dancers!

Your $15 Optional Donation will go towards our Dance for All scholarship program for Foster Village.

Musicians are welcome to come sit in for the open jam. Dancers are welcome to groove as space allows.

The Butterfly Effect:
Into the Jazz Vortex

This March, the East Side’s iconic The Butterfly Bar @ The VORTEX becomes the epicenter of jazz and engagement. ATX Artists for Social Impact, in collaboration with The VORTEX, is proud to present "The Butterfly Effect: Into the Jazz VORTEX," a high-energy big band showcase and community gathering featuring the ATX Jazz Orchestra performing the music of Count Basie!

Capital Contemporary Ballet is seeking contemporary dancers for a short film grounded in five poems and five drawings that center eating disorder recovery, embodiment, and body liberation.

Dance for All is our educational outreach program, led by resident company, Capital Contemporary Ballet. We offer affordable, accessible dance training open to all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, led by professional instructors.

ATX Classical Jam

We are proud to welcome the long-running ATX Classical Jam, hosted by Christabel Lin, into Jams for Humanity!

Join us at 8pm every second Monday at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches for an open chamber music reading night where classical musicians of all levels are welcome to listen, play, and connect.

Jazz on Wheels

Jazz on Wheels is our upcoming community advocacy centered performance series, led by resident company, ATX Jazz Orchestra. This program transforms public spaces into cultural jazz hubs that highlight the stories and lived experiences of Austin’s most vulnerable communities.
