Rachel Aucoin began her ballet education in her native New Orleans at Giacobbe Academy of Dance and Myra Mier School of Ballet. She later trained with Gregory Schramel and Marjorie Hardwick Schramel at the Schramel Conservatory of Dance, the School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and privately with Wilhelm Burmann and Nikoloz Makhateli.

As a student Rachel competed and placed in the Youth America Grand Prix semi finals and competed in the New York City finals. She has performed with New Orleans Ballet Theatre, New Orleans Opera Association, and American Ballet Theatre.

Rachel is currently part of faculty at Ballet Austin, and is currently pursuing her Pilates certification.
