Capital Contemporary Ballet creates innovative and emotionally resonant ballet works that uphold the highest standards of artistic and technical excellence. We aim to expand access to affordable ballet programs for the Greater Austin community.
Our Vision
Capital Contemporary Ballet envisions a reformed ballet world free of the socioeconomic barriers, body shaming, and toxic environments that plague the current industry. We dream of an institution that judges dancers not on their skin color, gender identity, or body type, but instead celebrates their athleticism, technique, and artistry. We dream of an institution that creates powerful, socially relevant, and accessible work that reflects the diverse voices within the community.

As a founding Artist in Residence of ATX Artists for Social Impact, we use our love of ballet to engage and serve the Greater Austin Community.
